Lock box – This is a favourite at the moment. Great for building fine motor skills although not completely Montessori aligned as you would have just one latch out at a time to explore. Havvie loves this because you can hide objects inside which she likes to discover.
Grimm’s rainbow – A great open ended stacking toy which can be built in many ways. Havvie has started using this for color matching too. She calls the the second last piece cabbage coloured.
Basket of animals – Another great open ended resource which hasn’t left our shelves for almost a year! I wrote about these animals in an earliest post here.
Knobbed puzzle – I recently wrote about these puzzles here. This is the 4 piece puzzle which adds complexity on top of the 3 piece we had earlier.
